Target group

Introducing a new practice in pre-school education, the use of new technologies at early age students, the PreEdTech project creates a complete different kindergarten education. This project will carry out training programs for teachers in pre-school education, will create an open educational resource base, will improve the quality of the learning experience using digital means. Based on this idea, the project involves the following target groups:

Direct target group

  • 150 Teachers (pre-school)
  • 200 Pupils (age 3-6)
  • 150 Parents/ tutors/ caregivers
  • 10 School principals
  • 10 Trainers in school education

Indirect target group

  • Schools (in general)
  • Teachers and students (in general)
  • Parents
  • Educational and training centers/ NGOs in the field of education
  • Teachers associations
  • Educational public authorities (Teacher Training Centers)
  • Public at large

The partners’ strategy to involve the direct target group is based on establishing contacts with the school / kindergartens principals for reaching teachers, parents and children.

The main direct target group to be involved in the project is formed from the teaching staff and trainee students of the project partners. At the application stage, each partner identified the group to be involved in the project analysing their needs. For the selection and involvement of the target groups there will be direct or indirect activities (meetings, emails, telephones,) for presenting the project, aims, activities, plans about educational materials to be developed, and discussions about the benefits one can get from participating in the project, possible roles. Also the teachers will be involved in the project based on their interest in improving their competences in teaching using new technologies and the possibility to find out about and have access to efficient resources on OER. In what concerns the strategy to select the indirect target group, the partnership policy is based on the interest to identify the channels and target group to support the sustainability of the project and the continuity of the use of the project products for extended end-beneficiaries.
